DingoSweeps DMCA Policy

DingoSweeps (“we”, “us”, or “our”) respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects the same from everyone who interacts with our website (the “Site”). This DMCA Policy explains how to submit a copyright infringement notice and how we handle counter-notices.

DingoSweeps is an affiliate information website. We do not operate any sweepstakes casino, do not accept deposits, and do not provide gambling or social gaming services.

Scope of this policy

The Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) is a U.S. law that provides a process for copyright owners to report alleged infringement online. While DingoSweeps is an Australian-facing website, our web hosting, service providers, or other infrastructure may be located in jurisdictions where DMCA-style processes are used. Accordingly, we offer the notice-and-takedown process described below

Reporting copyright infringement (DMCA notice)

If you believe that any content available on the site infringes your copyright, you may send us a written DMCA notice. After receiving a valid notice, we will review it and, where appropriate, remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing content.

What to include in a DMCA notice

To help us process your request efficiently, your notice should include all of the following information:

  • A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner (or a person authorised to act on the owner’s behalf).
  • Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed (or a representative list, if multiple works are involved).
  • Identification of the material on the Site that you claim is infringing, including the specific URL(s) and enough detail for us to locate it.
  • Your contact information (name, address, telephone number, and email address).
  • A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use of the material is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  • A statement that the information in the notice is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or are authorised to act on the owner’s behalf.

If any required element is missing, we may be unable to act on your notice. Please note that providing false or misleading information may have legal consequences.

Counter-notices

If you believe that content was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice. A counter-notice is a request to restore the material and should include:

  • Your physical or electronic signature.
  • Identification of the material that was removed or disabled, and the location (URL) where it appeared before it was removed/disabled.
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
  • Your name, address, telephone number, and email address.
  • A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the appropriate court (typically in the United States if applicable to our service providers) and that you will accept service of process from the person who submitted the original notice (or their agent).

If we receive a valid counter-notice, we may forward it to the original complaining party. If the complaining party does not notify us that they have filed a legal action to restrain the alleged infringement within a reasonable period, we may restore the removed content where appropriate.

Repeat infringer policy

In appropriate circumstances and at our sole discretion, we may restrict or terminate access to the site for anyone we consider a repeat infringer. We may also remove or disable content and take other actions as necessary to comply with applicable law and to protect the rights of others.

Misrepresentations

Under the DMCA (and similar legal frameworks), anyone who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing may be subject to liability. Please ensure that your notice or counter-notice is accurate and made in good faith.
