Roo Vegas Casino Review

Roo Vegas launched in December 2025 and is one of the first sweepstakes casinos built specifically for Australian players.

Operated by Cyprus-based Zoom Net Services Limited, the site offers 650+ games from studios like Betsoft and ICONIC21, along with real cash redemptions via its Spin Cash system.

Players can sign up, claim a generous no-deposit bonus and play across three in-house currencies.

With strong promotions, solid payment options and a slick interface, Roo Vegas is shaping up to be a serious contender, but there are still a few areas that need fleshing out and we’ll be digging into those below.

Legal States (AU)

All players at Roo Vegas must be at least 18 to take part.

Those in Australian Capital Territory, Northern Territory, South Australia and New South Wales are restricted, unfortunately.

However, that leaves players in Queensland, Victoria, Tasmania and Western Australia free to sign up and play.

How Roo Vegas Casino Works

Let’s explain how the three currencies at Roo Vegas work.

First we have Roo Coins, which are purely for free play. As the site says, “They’re just for fun and entertainment – any wins from Roo Coin play can’t be redeemed or converted.”

Next we have Spin Coins, which are used for promotional play. Again, referring to the site: “When you win in Spin Coin mode, your winnings are unlocked into Spin Cash, our prize balance.”

That brings us on to Spin Cash which can be converted into real cash prizes at a rate of 1:1.

Spin Cash is the only currency with an AUD value attached, and there’s no calculation needed: $100 Spin Cash simply redeems for $100 in real cash, for example.

To buy coin bundles of Roo Coins with free Spin Coins, you can head to the Roo Store and make your purchase using real money or by using your Spin Cash balance. The amount of Spin Coins you get in each bundle is essentially equivalent to AUD/Spin Cash by a 1:1 ratio, so everything is easy to calculate.

However, since Roo Vegas offers plentiful bonuses, you can also play without spending a cent too.

Lastly, players should bear in mind that if an account becomes inactive for 60 days, all three types of token will expire, so make sure to not leave your account for 60 days with coins in the wallet.

At sweepstakes casinos, there are always other ways to source free bonus currency. However, as Roo Vegas is still in its launch phase, we’re still waiting for a couple of these methods to come fully online.

There is already a VIP program in place called Roowards Club, but in an unusual move, it seems new accounts are monitored for the first 7 – 30 days, and only after that is your level assigned.

It’s also great to see a daily login bonus of 1 SC is available now – this was missing at launch. That being said, we still can’t see any evidence of a referral bonus in place yet, but this is often one of the last bonus types to come online at new sweeps casinos.

Fortunately there is a mail-in bonus already available. This is a system where players can send in a physical postcard or letter to request free Spin Coins, and it’s one way that sweepstakes casinos operate within sweepstakes laws.

To claim the mail-in bonus of 5 Spin Coins at Roo Vegas, find the Alternative Method of Entry page linked near the footer. Here you’ll be assigned a unique code, and then you add this to your handwritten mail-in entry. There’s also mention of a ‘Roo Vegas SC Promotion – Round One’ with a total prize pool of up to $30m AUD. It seems this is an ongoing, site-wide jackpot, but details are a little hazy for now.

Roo Vegas also has social media accounts on X, Instagram and Facebook, but for now there aren’t many posts up, and none offer a chance at bonus funds just yet. Maybe this is something that we’ll see come online in the future.

Roo Vegas currently has a lobby featuring just over 650 slots and live dealer titles, mostly supplied by small to mid-sized studios. Betsoft and ICONIC21 are probably the biggest developers on-board here.

Within the selection of slots you’ll find hold & win, jackpot and Megaways mechanics, while the live dealers offer games like roulette, blackjack and Top Card.

One unusual thing is that you can’t play all the games with both currencies. In fact, with Roo Coins your choice is limited to less than 50 titles, but when you switch to Spin Coins you’ll get a choice of 600+. Adding those together, you get a total of just over 650 pokies currently.

Players can filter via the various categories at the top of the lobby, and there’s a handy search bar too.

It’s always good when a platform has info cards for each game, and that’s the case here at Roo Vegas.

When you click on a title, you’ll be able to see the max win, volatility level and min and max bets. It’s a shame you can’t see the Return To Player average, but this should be available within the game’s UI.

Players must sign up to be able to view the lobby, but I can say there is plenty of choice here – enough to keep most players occupied over many sessions.

That being said, we are missing games from the truly top tier providers, so you might not be able to access the most famous and popular slots available at many online casinos.

Minimum redemptions start at only 50 Spin Cash, which is another positive. I couldn’t find any information on maximum redemptions, but if you ever need to know I’m sure you could contact the support team directly.

Your balance in all three currencies is always easily visible in the side bar. There’s also a prominent button next to your balance to take you to the store.

To verify your account for redemptions, you’ll need a valid photo ID (front and back) and a recent proof of address (PDF, issued within the last 3 months). The name and address must match your Roo Vegas account. Roo Vegas may also ask for a selfie with your ID. Make sure all documents are clear and readable to avoid delays.

Once approved, bank redemptions can take 3–5 business days, while Skrill is usually a bit faster.

Is Roo Vegas Casino Legit?

Roo Vegas is not shy about offering information on its operating company – the name, company number and address can all be found in the footer on every page. Said company is based in Cyprus (Kosta Ourani 5, Petoussis Court, Limassol, 3085), a jurisdiction often used by gaming and fintech operators.

Overall, there is very little information on Zoom Net Services online, but it has been registered as a business since 2020, and it’s evidently working with reliable gaming suppliers such as Betsoft and ICONIC21 who supply content to many other established online casinos.

Zoom Net Services doesn’t have a casino license, but equally, you don’t actually need one to operate a sweepstakes casino as it’s not technically gambling.

We’re glad to see Roo Vegas operating over HTTPS with SSL/TLS encryption, which protects user data during transmission. It also carries out KYC checks on its customers before redemptions are possible.

Roo Vegas is doing a great job already when it comes to customer support, with multiple methods to assist you in solving your queries.

While there’s no phoneline available, there is basically every other possible option. That means email, live chat, an FAQ page and even a community chatbox.

Many players’ first port of call will be the FAQ pages, and this section is conveniently linked in the sidebar. You’ll find over 30 commonly asked questions, and so it’s likely you’ll be able to find what you’re looking for here.

If not, you could ask in the community chat and get a response from one of the support team, or there’s a private chatbox, and while the initial stage is handled by an AI bot, I found the answers and responses in general to be really helpful.

The answers actually link out to another help center that often has more detail than the FAQ section. And if you do want to speak to a human agent, you can do that too.

As a last resort, there’s always email.

Roo Vegas Casino UX

I really enjoy the UI at Roo Vegas, including the fun kangaroo mascot.

Overall, this site feels a lot like Stake with its dark background, community chatbox and minimal but slick menus/buttons.

Things feel simple and intuitive here, and everything is easily available within a few clicks. I always enjoy when a casino has a dedicated ‘Promotions’ page so players can see all the deals on offer at a glance, and Roo Vegas has just that (see above image).

Customer support options and FAQs are easily signposted from the sidebar, and it’s really easy to navigate the platform overall – I can tell a lot of thought has been put into the user experience.

As a new casino, it’s no surprise there are no mobile apps available right now, but that’s fine because the casino can be accessed via the browser on your smartphone.

Of course, things work fine on desktop and tablet too, and maybe we’ll see the release of an app or two in the future.

How It Stacks Up

As I mentioned above, options for Aussie sweepstakes players are limited right now, and Roo Vegas stands out as a market leader already.

It’s obviously modelled on sweepstakes sites from the US, and has brought over many of the best features from those brands, offering them up for us in a neat package.

There is Gambino Slots to try out, but that site is a pure social casino, so it doesn’t offer real cash redemptions. It also doesn’t have the same amount of choice when it comes to game providers. It does, however, have mobile apps.

All in all, if you’re looking to play casino-style games for real money redemptions in Australia, Roo Vegas is fast becoming the site to do it at.

Our Experts Verdict

Roo Vegas has made a great early impression as one of Australia’s first dedicated sweepstakes casinos. It combines a generous signup bonus, a solid library of 650+ games, smooth banking and an excellent UX.

The dual-currency system is easy to understand, Spin Cash redemptions are straightforward and the 200% first-purchase bonus is a great way to buy your first bundle of coins.

While there are some areas that need work – like limited game genres and a VIP program that only activates after an initial monitoring period – the overall platform feels polished, especially when it comes to customer support. And, as a new casino, we should give Roo Vegas time to flesh itself out anyway.

Overall, it’s shaping up to be the leading sweepstakes option for Australian players.
